As I often walk along the Windmill Road and have known this area all my life it would be an asset to the village and to me as it would be safer walking around the park than on the road
Will I be able to access it from the Windmill Road ?
Will the windmill stump be a feature?
I also remember the lady who lived on the derelict cottage beside the Stump
I totally agree to have this developed as as pleasant place to spend some time !

Brilliant plan. Saintfield really needs a community park.

I support the SDA in their endeavours to convert the area behind the community center into a park.

Please make the windmill field into a mountain bike track it will get the older teenagers away from the parks so kids can play in them and onto th pump track. 👍

I’ve been having loads of ideas for potential activities that could be associated with this new park.
Outdoor nature based activities are invaluable for young and old but the young adults of the town could benefit from creative arts in nature in the next couple of years and could also be involved in the creating of the park. creative arts are inspired by nature and these young people need that inspiration. see my email for more thoughts.
