Would you like to improve your living/financial circumstances?
Then contact the MARA PROJECT!
AIM – This project aims to improve the health and wellbeing of people living in rural areas in Northern Ireland by helping them to access local services, grants or benefits.
HOW – Trained enablers will visit you at your home or a venue of your choice to complete a confidential questionnaire which is then linked to the relevant services – these bodies will in turn contact you IF you are eligible for assistance.

Would You Like HeartStart Training?
| HeartStart Lisburn & Mid Down was formed by a group of local people who have all been trained by the British Heart Foundation resuscitation officer.
They are looking for community groups / family and friends / church groups who want training. Groups can be from 6 to 36 people. More details here. |

Saintfield High School Pupils Win £3000 For Local Charity
| Year 9 students from Saintfield High School have been taking part in the Youth and Philanthropy Initiative.
Pupils selected a local charity that best addressed their chosen issue. They interviewed staff and beneficiaries before preparing a presentation for a ‘Dragon’s Den’ style judging panel, with the best team winning a £3,000 donation for their charity. More details here. |

| A new Sensory Garden has been opened at St Mary’s Primary School thanks to Lottery funding.
