HeartStart Lisburn & Mid Down was formed by a group of local people who have all been trained by the British Heart Foundation resuscitation officer. They are looking for community groups / family and friends / church groups who want training. Groups can be from 6 to 36 people. More details here.

Year 9 students from Saintfield High School have been taking part in the Youth and Philanthropy Initiative. Pupils selected a local charity that best addressed their chosen issue. They interviewed staff and beneficiaries before preparing a presentation for a ‘Dragon’s Den’ style judging panel, with the best team winning a £3,000 donation for their charity.…
