Translink Ulster In Bloom Awards 2013

On Thursday 27th March members of Saintfield Development Association attended the awards ceremony for the Translink Ulster In Bloom 2013 competition.  The event took place in Carrickfergus Town Hall.

The prize winners gather in the function room and take their places.

The awards ceremony begins …

… and soon it comes to the presentation of the Most Improved Special Award. The plaque
is collected by Saintfield Development Association member and Chair of the Saintfield in
Bloom 365 Committee Anne Walker.  She is accompanied by DDC representative councillor
Desmond Patterson and DJ Morgan, Down District Council Parks Officer.

Three of the Saintfield in Bloom 365 Committee who enthusiastically give freely
of their time to make Saintfield look beautiful through its floral displays:

The plaque, which will be put on display in Saintfield.  The exact location has yet to be decided upon.

And following the presentations everyone enjoyed a well deserved lunch!
