Saintfield Town Regeneration Committee is organising a quiz night in the WHITE HORSE on Thursday 23 February at 8:00pm
All proceeds are to go towards the Committee’s fund-raising to replace the Christmas lights for the Main Street which are now over 25 years old.
Bring your friends to make up a table of six people. Leave your phone at home!!!
This year the Saintfield Christmas Fair will be on Thursday 8th December 2011, starting at 7:30pm.
As usual there will be a miniature steam train, a bouncy castle, bands, Santa’s Grotto and a stage for live performances of choirs and other acts.
The lower part of Main Street and Comber Street will be closed to traffic from around 6:30pm.
Many shops will be open late so come and start the Christmas season with some fun, christmas carols and shopping.
Saintfield Town Regeneration Committee organised a fundraising evening at the Tudor Cinema in Comber on 26th October.
Over fifty people enjoyed a private screening of “The Quiet Man” and raised nearly £500 towards purchasing new Christmas lights for the Main Street. Thanks to Sam and June Kerr for making all the arrangements.
Thanks also to Sam Kerr who organised and distributed a fireside quiz. This also raised nearly £500 for the same objective.
Saintfield Cricket Club is organising two fun events on Sunday August 28th at 1:00pm
There will be two matches – Rowallane Inn v Rowallane Out and Barbour’s Braves v Davy’s Demons – and a barbecue at 2:30pm. Click here to see more details.
