| This year, the members of the Green Saintfield Committee of Saintfield Development Association have decided to put winter flowering plants in the tubs around the town, with under planting of daffodils and tulips. The latter will come up in the spring and make a cheery display. (The tulips were very kindly donated by Saintfield Nurseries.)
However, we need to raise money for the daffodils. This is where you can help! Please donate £1 (or more!) to sponsor a bulb for the tubs in the town. Money can be placed in collection boxes at several shops in the town. Just look out for the poster! Alternatively, you can make a donation via PayPal to: Any remaining bulbs left over from the planting will go in the grass areas on the approach roads to Saintfield. The committee members have individually bought some bulbs which will be used in the Memorial Garden and other projects throughout Saintfield. |
