SDA Meets Chief Executive Liam Hannaway

The Co-ordinating Committee of Saintfield Development Association had an introductory meeting with Mr Liam Hannaway, the New Chief Executive Designate of Newry, Mourne and Down Council.

The committee introduced SDA and described its projects both past and ongoing, and expressed its hopes and concerns. In return the Chief Executive explained his position on matters relating to Saintfield.

Committee members then took Mr Hannaway on a tour of the village, visiting the Memorial Garden, the sports grounds and the site for the community centre.

SDA is hopeful that the meeting will form the basis of a good relationship with the new Council.

Liam Hannaway (Chief Executive Designate of Newry, Mourne and Down Council), Barbara Graham (Chair of Saintfield Development Association) and Martyn Todd (Chair of SDA Infrastructure Committee).

Paul McGeown (Vice Chair of SDA), Brian Gamble (Chair of SDA Communications Committee) and Ian Mack (Secretary of SDA) also attended the meeting.
