The Chair of Saintfield Development Association’s Saintfield in Bloom 365 committee, Lawrence Murphy, welcomes everyone to the talk.

Committee member Lyn Mackender introduces the guest speaker Mike Snowden.

Mike Snowden gave two talks, one on a secret walled garden project he and his wife June have worked on, and one on the early years of Saintfield in Bloom.

Committee member Anne Walker thanked Mike for giving the public talk which raised funds for this year’s Saintfield in Bloom floral displays.

Plants were on sale too to raise funds.

Was this a fix!  The first ballot number drawn from the hat belonged to committee chair Lawrence Murphy!

And the second belonged to Anne Walker’s husband Brian!
