There was a great welcome for visitors from the Hallowe’en staff.
In the courtyard there was a queue to collect pumpkins.
It was hard to decide which one to take as there were 500 to choose from!
Then the beheading, scooping and carving began.
There were many different styles tried …
… and then they were put on display for all to see.
There were many people entering Rowallane House itself …
… but it was scary in the shop!
There was croquet on the lawn – with a difference!
Strange creatures were swinging in the trees …
… and coming out of the earth.
There were ghostly apparitions …
… mad creatures …
… and false teeth to die for!
But there was worse to come in the form of the glamorous witch Esmeralda …
… as she lured children away, never to be seen again!
Only joking!! It was a great day out for all of the family, as the overflow car park testified.
