The Opening Concert of HarFest will feature the choir Grosvenor Chorale, in which there are many local singers, and which is directed by Edward Craig. When you go to a concert that features Grosvenor you can be assured of being treated to ever-changing styles of music that come from the depths of their hearts as they bring you a diversity of vocal sounds ancient and modern. In addition to this multi-awarding winning choir there will be other local artists including the fabulous piper Scott Barr.
Music at this concert will include some new settings of Irish Folk Songs and fresh performances of easy listening standards.
This concert will be hosted by the popular BBC Radio Ulster Presenter, and Saintfield resident, John Toal.
