Mike Snowden Talk Photos

On Thursday 4th June Saintfield Development Association’s Green Saintfield Committee were honoured to have Mike Snowden give a talk to help them raise funds for Saintfield in Bloom.

The recently elected chair of Saintfield Development Association introduced Mike Snowden.

Mike gave the talk on his restoration of the walled garden at Erddig, a National Trust property in Wales.

The presentation contained numerous slides taken during the restoration project nearly 40 years ago.

After the talk there was a ballot to raise funds for Saintfield In Bloom.  Prizes were donated by SDA members, Saintfield traders, and by Mike himself.  SDA members Vivien Lovell and Denis Conn organised the ballot.

To round off the very enjoyable evening there were refreshments and delicious pastries made by Ann McCandless of Norr & Brown, and by SDA members.
